hola amigos!

i'm just having a FANTABULOUS time. our schedule is basically as follows:
- morning meditation (one hour)
- breakfast
- surf lessons (two hours)
- lunch
- yoga (three hours!!)
- watch the sunset at the beach
- dinner
- ayurveda workshop
- sleeeeeeeeeppppp
EXHAUSTING, but wonderful ... i've been skipping yoga every-other day to RELAX and do some reading ... and yesterday a bunch of us went on a canopy tour, zipping from tree to tree ... very cool! and the surfing: SO MUCH FUN!! if you know the terms, i've graduated to an 8'6" hard board, and i've mastered the 'inside' (catching waves on my own, etc.) ... i can't wait to learn more and move to the outside!!
overall, i'm more relaxed than ever, and so happy that i came. :)

hey everyone! in brief:
costa rica is WONDERFUL ... it's been sunny every day (i'm burnt already, of course), the yoga has been difficult but rewarding, and i've had two surfing lessons and am supposedly "a natural" :D (that said, this is one of the best, but also one of the easiest places to surf in the world: constant, perfect waves ,, no crowds .... aaaahhhhhh
okay, it feels very strange using technology, so i must go ...

my iPod just got wiped out!! thankfully i had a backup from a month ago, so not all was lost .... but it's ssoo strange not having my playlists and ratings!!
all songs are on equal footing again .... it feels rather liberating, actually ... like coming to terms with the past?

[yawnnn] ... roll over on your right side and ... no clock ..... huh ... okay, roll over to the other side ... there it is .... wait, you can’t find SNOOZE ... okay, it’s off .. slowly open your eyes ... what the?! .... why is there so much sunlight? you live in a basement apartment! ... oh wait, “Montréal, I’m in Montréal today ...” slowly get up and walk towards the ... hold on, where did the washroom go?! oh, it’s on the other side of the room ... [yaawwwnnnn] .... shower, dress ... open the door and ... which way do I go to get to work!?

sometimes I hate living in hotels five days a week ... all the rooms look alike, except some are complete opposites .... THEN you have to figure out which way the elevator is when you leave the room!
