one time i read a book that talked about how the instant you turn 10 you stop seeig the world as a child and see the world as an adult. almost more vividly and solidly that a real adult. at 10 years old, it is both the best and worst year of your life.
i think that 10 year old me had way less baggage and was much more open. not infected by so much bullshit the world places on our heads.
